" Balance here:

I'm having a tattoo of the the word DISOBEY written in the
style of the DISNEY corporate logo. But not on my face or
forehead! On my upper arm somewhere. It's a design by the
brilliant artist and musician from Destroy All Monsters,
Mike Kelly. And was adopted by Blast First for their
legendary monthly "Disobey" events Upstairs At the
Garage,Islington,London. Disney eventually made then stop
using that particular typeface.I used to be a regular
there.VERYenjoyabale nights especially my vodka fueled half
-assed fistfight with Richard James :-}

love Balance "

So... Does this mean we can look forward to some of
Richard's acoustic work coming out on Eskaton soon?

Has anyone seen any of Coil's recent performances? They're
opening for Sigur Ros soon - a pity it's all the way across
the ocean.. Ho-hum. If only I had gills..

I was going to have a track out on eskaton. All made of
harpsichord notes played ultr-fast like conlon nanncarrow
meets ligeti. but john/jeff & sleazy/pete have had it for
over 3 years now. I think boc were meant to be on that comp
as well as matmos and isan... "star shaped individual in
society" eskaton..

drugs and release it!

What's your name? I know Autechre were supposed to be on
it... BOC wouldn't suprise me, they seem to have a lot of
converging interests with Coil. Cyclobe as well...

You're right, it's probably Mike Paradinas. Coil did a
song(remix?) for him a short while back entitled 'Fallen
Angels Entering Pandemonium' on his Slag Boom Van Loon
album. -Boards of Canada and Matmos also contributed to
this record.
Ah well, no need to dispel the mystery..

actually, mike p. is babydieonchord. me and a couple others
on this board kind of "outed" him on a thread and to my
knowledge he's never come back. either he switched names to
this one or this is an entirely different artist who we both
probably like. i don't see why they're so particular about
their privacy, it's not like any of us are going to stalk
them.

especially since they post on the mu board under their
artist names....

and add BOC i guess tho i can't see how'd they'd get mixed
up w/ Coil, they sound worlds different.

i wonder what it'd take to get them to release this cd. on
the one hand i bet they never get asked about it cos it's
kind of an obscure thing to know about. on the other hand
there must be some sort of reason why they didn't put it
out. and even if they wanted to, those artists are all on
different labels and it'd probably take months to sort
everything out.
